We develop and apply optimization algorithms tailored to the characteristics and circumstances of the project, proposing the most reasonable and efficient solutions. Specifically, to achieve cost-effectiveness required in the construction phase of irregular buildings, we propose alternatives that minimize design deviations from the original plan while simultaneously satisfying rationality in production and ease of installation.

​The target performance of building shapes, displacements, or costs generally has a nonlinear relationship. Therefore, optimization in the construction industry often requires solutions that combine heuristic (experience-based) optimization and generative design. Additionally, optimization problems sometimes demand single target performance, but in many realistic cases, they require satisfying multiple, often conflicting, target performances. In such cases, it is necessary to select target performances to prioritize without compromising others, which requires different solutions depending on the project's circumstances. By providing optimal solutions tailored to the characteristics of the project, we can secure cost-effectiveness and achieve high construction quality and completion of the building.

We combine and apply mathematical or heuristic optimization algorithms tailored to the project's situation and implement them using computing technology. Depending on the nature of the given optimization problem, a mathematical optimization approach may be required, but in most cases, heuristic optimization is needed when considering the realistic multiple influencing variables that affect design or construction. When there are too many influencing variables, or it is difficult to clearly determine the relationship with target performance, AI may be required.

The optimal design service is provided in two forms: deriving solutions for specific problems or developing optimal design programs applicable to recurring tasks. Representative examples of optimal design services include the optimization of outdoor electrical design to achieve the placement of outdoor security lights, CCTV, and emergency broadcasting services at the minimum cost, and the optimization of piping design to realize the piping route with the minimum burial depth and cost.
