Hyundai Motor Group and SK On EV Battery Cell in Georgia
This project is a joint venture battery plant being built by 'Hyundai Motor Group' and 'SK On' in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The project employs a fast-track method to complete construction within less than a year. In a fast-track project, the design, procurement, and construction of various trades are executed in parallel with different time lags. This is a large-scale project with over one million MEP components. The overlapping design processes for each trade must be carried out while simultaneously tracking the real-time status of already procured or installed components, which adds to the complexity.
